Annual Meeting & Tour

Annual Meeting
provides the opportunity to recognize
departing chapter officers, introduce new chapter
officers, thank our generous sponsors, celebrate
chapter award winners, network with friends, and
look forward to another year of Facility Management
leadership in the region.
Program: Light Control for Energy
Savings (CEU)/Platinum Level LEED Building Tour.
Approved for AIA and USGBC CE hours.
Lutron will outline importance of
lighting & lighting control in a commercial building
& take participants through various lighting control
strategies. By reviewing national energy
statistics, energy code & LEED green building rating
system requirements, the importance of light control
for energy conservation will be revealed.
A model for sustainability, The
School District of the City of York is the
first
elementary school in the Commonwealth of PA to
achieve the highest LEED certification, Platinum
Level,
from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). They
also won 2011 overall design award for USGBC. This
is third facility for District to achieve LEED
certification.
