Repair, Replace, Upgrade?
An Introduction to Asset Lifecycle
Model for
Total Cost of Ownership Management
When: Wednesday, February 15th
Time: 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM (Lunch
Included)

When
you decide to buy a new or used car you consider a number of
factors (fuel, predicted depreciation, insurance, and
reliability). This same approach can be applied to buying,
managing and disposing of facility assets.
The “Asset Lifecycle Model for Total Cost of Ownership
Management” offers a cradle to grave process for measuring
and managing a physical asset’s useful life. The framework
provides a structure to help facility managers and property
owners determine and manage the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
to best support their particular organization’s overall
business or mission. This presentation will introduce this
framework, useful definitions, and cost models.
